I had heard about the Royale Parc Suites for a friend and loved the location and size of suites. I mean what parent wouldn’t love separate bedrooms and bathrooms from their kids! Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind sharing one room but it was a definite nice break to stay at the Royale Parc Suites. First off I will say it is close to Walt Disney World, but it is kind of hidden off the main road. The parking lot is between a gas station and a gift shop, set back, so just look for the Quality Suites sign. Checking in was super easy and we were off to our room. I chose a first floor poolside two-bedroom suite for the six of us and it was perfect. Our room was also right next to the playground which proved to be perfect for the mornings when I was still getting ready so my husband could sit right out there with them.
When you walked into our room there was a pull-out sofa, television, kitchen table, kitchen countertop, and closet. As you walk into the kitchen there is a fridge/freezer, stove top, microwave, cabinets stocked with cooking items, and then the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We chose the two bedroom suite with two queen beds in each since there was six of us. The rooms were pretty basic but with kids I don’t want anything fancy. We felt at home in the suite.
Oh and the breakfast buffet was not just coffee and some pastries. It had a different menu every day including items such as: eggs, pancakes, oranges, bananas, pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy, toast, and sausage. There was also a drink station with juices, milk and coffee.
As far as the pool and playground goes, it was a big hit for us. The pool was a good size and even when it was crowded it didn’t seem too bad. There was also a very shallow kiddie pool and a hot tub. Oh and every night there is even a one-hour window where there is free drinks for everyone (beer, wine, and soft drinks!)
Throughout the hotel, including outside, we also had free Wi-Fi, which honestly for me as a social media addict is a biggie. Other hotels/resorts charge an average of $15 per day which adds up quickly. My tween sister was loving that she could be on Facebook still and I was happy to try to keep up with my email at the end of the day.
Overall, I really liked the Royale Parc Suites. I could not have gotten anything similar within Disney World to sleep six of us, with separate bedroom/bathrooms (and a kitchenette) for the price we paid (prices are around $150 but less with specials!) The free breakfast alone saved us probably $40 a day and that would have been a small breakfast snack for each of us only – not eggs, cereal, sausage… Would I stay at the Royale Parc Suites again? Definitely. While I did miss the magic of Disney, it was nice to explore the Kissimmee/Orlando area too and really how much time do you even spend in the rooms – why not be comfortable and spaced out!
