I’d keep this for myself, I’ve been a stay at home mom for almost 13 years and am raising a 4th child currently. I was a teenage mother and I raised my daughter by myself until I met my ex husband who has been her dad since she was an infant, even though we didn’t work out he is still her dad.
Susan Smith says

I say take everything with stride! Being a stay at home mom is one of the toughest, most stressful jobs at times…. yet at other times, it is the most wonderful job on the planet!
Andrea Amy says
The only tip I really have is to make sure you get a little “alone” time in the day. For me its after my kids go to sleep, i come on the computer for a bit (sometimes sacrificing sleep just to have a bit of quiet in my day lol). This would be for me. I am a stay at home mom to 5 boys 🙂
Cher says
My husband doesn’t understand why I stay up so late – he doesn’t get that I love the peacefulness and that I can watch something other than cartoons!
Andrea Amy says
Mine doesn’t understand either. He always says how I am always so tired all the time, that I should just go to sleep, but honestly, if I think I would lose my mind if I didn’t take this time. Sometimes I read, mostly I sit on the computer and listen to iTunes and just enjoy the darkness and quiet of the house (for the most part lol, my oldest son is almost 18 so he’s up late too, but my youngest 3 are between the ages of 27 months and almost 5).
Deb says
I know someone who would love this book. I haven’t found one I didn’t like.
Tonya Filleman says
When it is cleaning time…it is cleaning time…when it is mommy time, it is mommy time….be ALL in with whatever you are doing…….
Renee B. says
My tip is to always carve out some me time
Heather McD says
My stay at home mom tip is to always find time for yourself throughout the week or you might go insane especially if you have young kids 🙂 A lot of times when I feel crazy it’s because I haven’t had time to myself in awhile.
