    ABOUT IT:

    The Grill Daddy (www.grilldaddy.net) is a steam powered grill-cleaning tool that sanitizes grills and eliminates the burnt on food, grease and dirt. Cleaning grills can be a difficult and time-consuming task but the alternative is far worse. Unwashed racks can house bacteria that could contaminate food and leave an unsanitary and bad taste.

    Utilizing specially designed stainless-steel brushes, the Grill Daddy releases water as users brush, hitting the grill and turning to steam while rinsing away unsanitary debris.

    Other features:

    ·         No rancid greasy residue builds up on the brush (liquefies and melts it away)

    ·         Safe for porcelain, steel and iron grills (hot or cold)

    MY THOUGHTS:

    My husband really enjoys using his Grill Daddy.  At first he didn’t understand how it would work, since he kept saying it must need batteries.  Nope, no batteries, just water!  Fill it up and start cleaning a heated grill.  (It would really work on a cold grill.)  It definitely was an improvement to our grill since we haven’t had a grill cleaner thing in awhile.  It was easy to scrub and the steam definitely helped.  I like that there is no chemicals to spray on and taint our grill with.  It has two scrubbers on it and an easy to use handle.  I would recommend this for any griller or even as a Father’s Day present! Oh and it even has a ring to hang it from your grill so it is always ready!

      When we visited my husband’s parents in North Pole, Alaska over Christmas his dad wanted to make steaks so he was out there grilling in the dark and cold! Too bad it was so dark that he couldn’t see that he was practically burning them.

      I love when my husband does his special pork! He marinades pork cubes overnight in teriyaki sauce, then skewers them with red onions, pineapples, and bell peppers. Toss onto the grill for a few mintes and OMG, I am in heaven.

      We got a new grill earlier this year and WOAH!! Let me tell you that it made all the difference in the world. No fires. Constant temps. We grill at least 3-4 times per week now and we’re all loving life just a little bit more. Great giveaway, I’ll have to look into a grilldaddy as soon as we build up a nice ‘flavor film’ on our grill racks 🙂

      I love to make homemade pizza on the grill. You can use your own dough, roll it out thinly, grill it on one side, flip it over and then top with sauce, cheese and other goodies. It’s really quick & easy!

      We def need this for our grill. We use it all the time, plus it has an attachment that hooks up to our tailgate on the truck so we take it to football games and just grill on the back of the truck.

      My husband loves grilling. If we ever want to have steaks, it has to be cooked on the grill. And sometimes hubby will grill burgers or hot dogs on the grill just to give me a break from cooking. 🙂

      My hubby just did the B1G1 deal for Kingsford charcoal at Lowe’s this week. That’s about $4.25 for a 16.6 lb bag. AWESOME. He is a grilling machine during the warmer months, and this would sure come in handy.
