Even though summer is coming to an end, it doesn’t mean the end of veggies. From crisp cucumbers to crunchy carrots, there are always different vegetables in bloom throughout the year. I am pretty basic when it comes to vegetables and don’t like to add too much to them but I do need a little something. So I started topping my vegetables with Country Crock. I had no clue that Country Crock has 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter! I admit I was a butter-addict and thought it was weird to use a spread from a tub, but I am glad I tried out Country Crock. I look at it like, every time I slip in Country Crock instead of butter it is less calories and saturated fat I’m consuming. My family has yet to notice the difference and I love that our meals are just a little bit healthier but still as delicious! Even if you are a butter-addict like I used to be, in all the recipes I have tried and with vegetables alone, I haven’t noticed a big difference. For veggies, Country Crock is perfect to brush on and grill or bake!
