Every year no matter hard I try to keep them out, ants always find a way in. I have tried sprays and cornmeal before, but this year I had to try something more hardcore to get rid of ants. Combat has two products that are specifically for ants problems.
Ant gel kills ants that are bugging you now. Combat Source Kill Max Killing Gel is a gel that you spread around through a plastic syringe to kill ants at the source. It works within hours and up to one month against a variety of ants. Its fast acting for those pesky ants that need to go asap! I actually prefer the Ant Baits since I can place them in spots and know where they are, as opposed to the gel which I have to leave as gel droplets.
Ant baits are for long-term, continuous control. These are little “ant houses” (that’s what I call them) that the ants are attracted to go into and when they leave they bring the bait (chemical) back to the colony. They provide long-lasting ant killing power but leave no vapors, fumes or odor. They are also child-resistant in design, but I still try to keep them well hidden from my kids. These baits are good for about three months, perfect for ant season!
Overall, my ant problem is gone. Now of course I can’t say it was these Combat products for sure, but my problem is solved. I will definitely be buying them at my next site of ants, which probably won’t be until next year for my area. I like that they are safe around kids, well as safe as they can be.
Combat is also hosting the “Combat Bug-Free Backyard Bash Sweepstakes” where one lucky winner will receive $1000 to hold their very own Bug Free Backyard Bash! The winner will also receive an assortment of Combat brand products to ensure ants don’t spoil their Bash! All you have to do is watch a short video and then fill out the form.
