I have three kids 5 and under who all having growing feet. I’d compare their feet to weeds as they seem to grow like crazy while they are young. Now there are many experiences I prefer to tackle without my children and shopping is one of them. Since I have at least two kids with me at all times, I dread shopping with them as it is either nap time for my little one or my boys are whining that they have to shop.
Shoes shopping is something that I seem to always have to drag them with for because they always need to be sized properly. I have even tried tracing their feet on paper and bringing that to the store with me, but that wasn’t too helpful. Now if I do buy shoes without them in toe and they are the wrong size, then I have to go back and exchange them, what a pain!
Squatchi is a children’s shoe-sizer for measuring feet at home and is sure to make the shoe shopping experience easier and less daunting! Made in the USA, Squatchi is made of lightweight, recyclable, unbreakable plastic and comes in fun, kid-friendly colors. With Squatchi, parents can purchase shoes with more confidence – either online or without dragging the kids to the store. It is as accurate as the devices used in stores and easy to use – just make sure the child’s heel is resting in the curved end and use a marker to note the size.
Squatchi is also a growth chart and keepsake! Use a permanent marker and you can write on the Squatchi. Watch your children’s feet grow and have fun in the process!
I love that with one simple device I can measure my kids fit accurately and easily get their shoes. This is especially nice for online shoe shopping which I have not had too much luck doing before.
To use you just have your child stand on the plastic device and mark where their toe is. You can use it as a growth chart but I want to use it for all 3 kids so I just use a pencil or dry-erase marker. For under $20 this is a great value, especially for moms of multiple children.
BUY IT: Squatchi can be found on Amazon for $18.99 or check out their website to see if there is a store in your area.
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive a Squatchi Children’s Foot Sizer

Ok, I HAVE to have this! I shop mostly at StrideRite for my kids shoes but I order them online too. It’s a pain to go get their feet sized when there is an online sale. Always at the wrong time. I’ve tried to size their feet myself and I always get a size and a half bigger than they do, .

Right now I just buy sizes bigger than what my son wears instead of buying one that fits him now (I started this awhile ago), that way I have a bunch of sizes on hand for when he grows into them.
