Wild Kratts: Lost at Sea
Released: January 22, 2013
Studio: PBS
Running Time: minutes
My boys love Wild Kratts, unfortunately it is not on enough for them. I actually had to mark it down on the calendar when the new “Lost At Sea” premier was because my boys kept asking when it was! We of course watched it live and then they wanted to watch it again!
The DVD features two episodes – Speaking Dolphinese and Blowfish Blowout – that feature sea life animals, hence the title “Lost at Sea.” My boys love having a DVD of their favorite show and seriously have watched this DVD pretty much every day. If your child has never seen the Wild Kratts show on PBS, it is a show that features two brothers in real life who show off real animals and then get animated for the show. My boys think its neat to see both real life animals and then of course love the cartoon portion. The show is wholesome, educational and honestly I don’t mind watching it with them. The guys take on the lives of animals to use their animal skills and tackle adventures. Very cute and must for any child, animal lover or not!
Creature teachers Chris and Martin Kratt will take families along on extraordinary animal-powered adventures. The show transforms the Kratt Brothers into animated versions of themselves, allowing the real-life zoologists to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats and showcase key science concepts. Episodes include: Speaking Dolphinese, and Blowfish Blowout.
Mom and More Disclosure: I was sent this DVD to review in exchange for my honest opinion. Please see my Disclosure Policy.
