When I first got my license there was no GPS or smartphones. Cell phones had just become more affordable for consumers, but my first one had to be plugged into the lighter adapter to work – and it was the size of a brick! I had like no minutes and it was strictly for emergencies. Well to say I am directionally-challenged would be an understatement. I do not know my North from South and if it wasn’t for the compass I had on my dashboard I wouldn’t have known the direction I was driving! Yes I could have read a map but I was not so good at maps either and trying to drive and navigate at the same time was not going to happen either.
Well today’s technology makes it so much easier for people to navigate to their destinations safely and efficiently. No more getting lost, trying to follow a map or worrying about another piece of technology (GPS). Verizon has come out the VZ Navigator which turns your smartphone into a Navigation System.
VZ Navigator is a navigation app with features like lane guidance, natural language voice guidance, alternate route selector, and reliable real-time traffic.
So now rather than a map or an outdated GPS unit, you can just load an app on your smartphone and you are set to take control your commute!
Features:
- Navigation trusted by millions
- Spoken turn-by-turn navigation with real-time traffic
- 3D city views with real-life road signs and other visual notifications
- Traffic routing and alerts, speed limits, & more
- Works with Windows, Android, Apple and Blackberry phones
While I do have a GPS in my car, it is currently outdated and pretty basic. I love that the VZ Navigator offers real-time traffic and directions, which my GPS can’t. Since it is on your cell phone, you can also easily take the VZ Navigator with you in whatever car you’re in (or if you are walking!) As a busy mom who is constantly on the go, I need something I can rely on. I will definitely be downloading the app and taking advantage of the one-month free trial.
CHECK IT OUT: Verizon is offering a 30-day free trial for smartphones then its just $2 per month therafter. For more information about VZ Navigator, please visit: http://www.vznavigator.com
