    World Series of YAHTZEE {Review}

    One of my favorite games is YAHTZEE.  I don’t know why, but something about the challenge of getting all the different combinations gets me every time.  My husband though gets bored of YAHTZEE and I admit too I get impatient.  Well leave it to Hasbro to create a new YAHTZEE that up to four players can play at once!

    It’s a fast-paced, casino-inspired face-to-face dice showdown where everyone rolls together and tries to match their dice to the YAHTZEE combination cards on the board. Roll fast to try and get the highest score and be the first to lock-in and start the electronic timer. When everyone has stopped rolling, grab your card for points. Highest score at the end of the game wins! Starting in late spring 2013, World Series of Yahtzee will include a digital value offer for a High Roller App pack for use in the World Series of YAHTZEE mobile app. Do you have what it takes to win World Series of YAHTZEE?

    The World Series of YAHTZEE is a game where you set up a game board with an electronic device in the middle (you do have to add your own two AA batteries.)  You set up game pieces on the game board that says the typical rolls you would normally check off on your game pad like Full House, Small Straight, 3 of a Kind and so forth.  Up to four players at once rolls and once you roll a combination that is on the game board, you hit your buzzer and the other players get five seconds to roll a combination of their own.  You then accumulate the cards and earn points.  It is actually pretty neat how you race against each other and hit a buzzer.  While this game starts at ages 8 and up, my 6 year old was able to get the hang of it and he loves it!  The World Series of YAHTZEE is a great game for YAHTZEE fans who want to spice things up or just for a family looking for new fun game!

      Has to be good old Yahtzee, honestly we have been playing the traditional forever, and the kids were taught the game with Mickey Mouse Yahtzee! haha! Would love the new modern version, thanks for the chance.

      My favorite game as a kid was monolopy! Ha! Had the parents for at least 2-3 hours! Now I love shorter games like Sorry!

      I love Monopoly! I also love yahtzee. I taught my neice how to play and now she beats me when we play.I’m going to teach her how to play monopoly so I’ll have someone to play it with.Thank you 🙂

      Actually, my hubby and I reach for the traditional yahtzee game more than anything. We even have a version on our phones so we can play each other when we aren’t together too!

      I have always loved Clue. Right now, my 8 and 9 year olds are loving Life and Yahtzee, so we play a lot of that.

      My mom texts me Yahtzee pictures all the time showing how she’s kicked my dad’s bum in a game. We play cards, Sorry, or Uno most often with our kids.
