INGREDIENTS:
- Cinnamon Swirl topping:
- 1/2 stick of butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
Cream Cheese Icing topping:
- 1/2 stick of butter, softened
- 2 oz of cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2-3 tbsp of milk
DIRECTIONS:
Combine ingredients for each topping in separate bowls and mix until smooth.
Slather Cinnamon Swirl topping on waffles, I used a butter knife. Then drizzle Cream Cheese Icing topping on top!
There should be enough for 2-4 waffles, use sparingly though as they are very rich tasting!

These waffles look like old time Belgian waffles. I think they look magnificent!

I love this topping – I’d like to use the cream cheese topping on my homemade biscuits, too. I often make an icing for them, but never tried anything like this!

My kids are going to love this recipe and even though my son has Celiac’s no gluten this could be made to go over his gluten free waffles and he will enjoy it too.

When I saw this recipe, I knew it was perfect for my house. These pancakes will be devoured, no doubt in short time. I never saw this recipe or any recipe like it so far. I have a feeling the kids won’t be the only ones devouring this perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner treat.

SOUNDS SOOOO CUTE!! We put chocolate chips in our waffles but this would be great because I get tired of just plain syrup all the time (and if you put too much on that is ALL you taste). I will have to try this the next time we have waffles.

This looks so good! For someone like myself who isn’t too crazy about regular maple syrup, this is a great recipe to try! I loooove cinnamon and I imagine glazing pancakes with this would make it taste similar to a cinnamon roll, but a lot easier to make!
