    Getting Our Fiber Fix From Kellogg’s #LoveYourCereal

    Did you know that 9 out of 10 children do not get enough fiber in their diet?  Not enough fiber means irregularity can happen…down there.  I had no clue that the statistic was so high on kids and fiber, but I can definitely believe it.  I am guilty of not feeding my own kids enough fiber, but I am trying so hard to expand their food favorites.  Yes I am becoming one of those sneaky moms that sneaks in fruits and vegetables into their meals!

    One way I don’t have to sneak in fiber though is through cereal.  My kids love cereal and as a mom I love how easy it is to serve to them!  Kellogg’s wants moms to know that kicking off your child’s day with fiber can be tasty and just what your child needs to keep their tummies happy.  Constipation is reportedly the cause for almost 5 percent of all pediatric outpatient visits!  Kellogg’s Froot Loops, Apple Jacks and Mini-Wheats have between 3-6 grams of fiber per serving, a good amount to start your kids’ day off on track!

    Are your kids cereal eaters?  Did you know that Kellogg’s has the fiber your kids need?  In my family cereal is the breakfast of choice and I love that I can feel good feeding it to them.

      Our favorite cereal varies – my overall favorite is Frosted Flakes; my husband loves Frosted mini wheats (original) and Special K, and the kids are like locusts who will eat anything we bring home. 🙂

      We like a variety of cereals, a lot that I get coupons on some we aren’t picky. lol. My husband and I both like Frosted mini wheats and the kids like Fruit Loops and the sweetened cereals. they like eating it from the box

      My family’s favorite cereal is honey nut cheerios. We all love that!!! I enjoy Lucky Charms, Rice Krispies and Special K too!

      I love Lucky Charms, and usually eat it in the evening when I don’t know what I want. I have insomnia, so I am not awake for breakfast, I usually have just got to sleep then.

      We eat a lot of cereal here. I look for the lower sugar options. Even frosted flakes have a lower sugar option.

      We have 8 people in our family and all love different things. But a few favorites are Fruit Loops, Cinnamon toast crunch, cocoa puffs, and Krave.

      We are a versatile bunch none of us agrees on a favorite, I love raisin nut bran and fruity pebbles, fiance loves cinnamon toast crunch or frosted mini wheats. My 5 year old will tell you his favorite is cocoa pebbles or honey nut cheerios and my 4 year old daughter always wants lucky charms or captain crunch

      Who needs milk? I eat half a box just watching a couple episodes of Master Chef

      With 6 kids growing up over the years, what I find is there IS not favorite. They go all wild on one for a week and then are onto another. Right now it’s Frosted Flakes. Grrroooooowrrrrr!

      My whole family LOVES cereal! We eat it just about everyday! We have lots of favorites that makes it hard to just pick one. I have to say Frosted Flakes or Fruit Loops are at the top of the list! YUMMMMM!!!

      My family’s favorite cereal is an organic brown rice crispies. We’re gluten and dairy intolerant, so we have it with rice milk. It’s a light, quick way to start the day!
