    This week Barbie is releasing her 27th title – “Barbie® & Her Sisters in a Pony Tale” and I honestly am so excited about it.  I loved Barbie as a child and saved all my Barbie stuff.  Then after having two boys I thought for sure all those Rubbermaid totes were going to go to GoodWill but then I had my Olivia.  While Olivia is not yet 3, she already loves Barbie from playing with the dolls at our friends houses.  As Olivia is starting to show interest in Barbie, I am all about introducing her to the doll that took over my childhood.

    “Barbie® & Her Sisters in a Pony Tale” is the tale of Barbie setting off on an equestrian adventure with her three sisters.  At the posh horse academy in the majestic Swiss Alpine, the sisters will form everlasting bonds with each other and their ponies, learning that anything is possible with the power of family and friendship!

    In addition to the movie coming out, there are a few new Barbie toys available!  I love when companies make products to compliment movies and television shows!  I think the Barbie and Her Sisters in a Pony Tale RV Vehicle is beyond adorable!

    I got the chance to check out the Barbie Sisters Gala Gown Giftset and it is adorable!  At just over $30, its a good value too since you get four dolls in one!  It is for ages 3 and up, probably due to the small accessories, and I honestly would love to play with myself.  For now we didn’t open it yet, my daughter needs to be just a little older before I think she will really be able to appreciate it.  I absolutely love the dolls though and how it includes the littlest sister.  I don’t think I ever had a Barbie doll that young.  They are typical Barbie dolls, but they come in such a great giftset together.  I know my daughter is going to love these dolls in a few months, once she’s more mature and not putting everything in her mouth!

    While we haven’t seen the new “Barbie® & Her Sisters in a Pony Tale” DVD yet, I know it is going to be a hit in my house.  My daughter is all about dolls and ponies right now, and this story sounds adorable.

      Something about Barbie? I believe Barbie was born around 1959. I grew up playing with barbie. Im sure my grand daughter will love her too.

      Like you I had lost all hope of having a little girl to play Barbie with. We had two sons and four grandsons before I finally got my girl. Now I have two who love Barbie and it has been a blast playing together!

      My granddaughter has 4 containers of barbie and everything else that belongs with barbie that he mom passed down to her. She would love this dvd.

      My daughter absolutely loves horses! She loves watching them, playing with them, and pretending to be one 🙂 she would be so excited to see this movie on her Christmas stocking 🙂

      I love watching little girl’s play with Barbies and become inspired. Mattel has come out with so many different professions for Barbie and I think it sends a message to our girls that they can be anything they want to be.

      I’ve loved Barbies since I was a kid. When I had my daughter I was happy b/c I knew she’d love Barbie too. Now I have 2 nieces who love her too. We’re a Barbie family.       Awww!! My daughter would so love this movie!! She also has a deep love for horses:-) She actually plays with my Barbie horse from the 80’s..it is so awesome that my mom kept all my Barbie stuff and I can share it with my daughter <3

      My daughter has about 10 of the Barbie Movies and about 30 Barbies and various friends to play with. I’m forever being the prince at a royal wedding or ball.

      I had so many barbie’s when I was little and I would always draw on their faces, cut their hair and do all kinds of crazy things with them lol My mom would keep buying and buying them knowing I destroyed them, I was horrible when I was younger. Thankfully my daughter takes care of hers and she has so many nice ones, storage cases for their clothes and barbie jeeps and cars, She is a barbie girl! =) Thanks

      My daughter decided she wanted a barbie jet for Christmas, a $400 toy. I told her that was a very expensive toy and she said, “but mom Santa doesn’t buy toys he makes them”. Now I gotta figure out how to deal with that, lol.

      My little princess loves horses especially pink ones she thinks the merrygoround pink horse at the zoo is her pet and that it lives on a farm and convinced its real lol, she would love this movie!

      Barbie is a tradition in my family. While not a role model, she has been a trusted toy for all the girls in my family. Adding ponies to the mix – another common love for many little girls- that is a magical combination. 🙂
