      I am thankful for Skype and being able to stay connected with my family an even my soldier when he is deployed. Face time is taken for granted. And even seeing a really bad pixelated face and hearing their crackly voice when the connection isn’t so great can be the sweetest thing in the world.

      I’m thankful that my teenage kids look out for each other. Son has dinner with girlfriend’s parents for the first time tonight. Daughter made sure he brought a hostess gift.

      Today I’m thankful I survived grocery shopping as it was quite tedious. Sometimes I just hate going because the cashiers just do not know what they are doing. Very thankful I made it home okay and got everything I needed. (almost)

      My husband and I managed to save enough money to buy a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner! I’m so thankful! At the end of the month, we usually survive on pasta and beans.

      My dad went in for an angiaplasty a couple weeks ago and found out he needed emergency quad. bypass surgery and the surgeon was shocked he had never had a heart attack. I am so thankful that he went in when he did and he is ok
