MY THOUGHTS:

This is an adorable story about Earth the Sea Turtle and how she gets tangled in garbage thrown in the ocean.  Eartha tries to get help from her sea friends, but finally some “land people” help her.  She discovers that not all people are bad and this app teaches kids to not throw garbage in the water.  It also shows how good some people are and how great it is to be home.  I love the storyline, as it is unique since it is about a Sea Turtle.  My son loves the bright colors and that the default is that it automatically reads it to him and that he doesn’t have to flip the pages – this is a bonus for my 2 year old who hasn’t quite grasped the concept of flipping pages at the right times.  Both boys can hold the iPod and watch the story, thinking it is a cartoon when it is really a book being read to them!  There is even a bonus story on this app featuring a real live Eartha Sea Turtle and how she is rescued and nursed to heath, it is real life pictures and very neat to see what a Sea Turtle looks like in real life.  Overall, this is a very cute story and nothing less than a high quality iStorytime App!
