For this year, Pei Wei is offering a new small size entree starts at just $6.39, yeah for affordable. Their new flavor profile is Thai Lime & Chile. Combining citrus flavors and spicy Fresno chilies for a unique flavor adventure. Guests get to choose their protein (chicken, steak, shrimp or tofu) which is then tosses in a Thai lime pineapple chile sauce, along with garlic, red onion, snap peas, Fresno chile peppers, then topped with cashews, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers and cilantro. Yum! Served alongside white or brown rice or as an entree salad.
More of a salad person? Pei Wei has added a new salad as well. The Wok Roasted Vegetable Salad is a flavorful combination of wok-roasted cauliflower, zucchini, carrots, green beans, scallions, assorted lettuce, Napa cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes topped with toasted sesame seeds, curry salt and tossed in a miso vinaigrette. Um yeah they had me at roasted-cauliflower!
Two new sides are also being offered. Ginger Orange Edamame (steamed soybeans, orange peel, ginger, garlic and sea salt) and Szechuan Green Beans (wok seared green beans with Hunan sauce, chile paste and garlic.)
