Ingredients:
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon dried Ginger (the recipe actually called for candied Ginger, but I only had dried Ginger)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 packages (15 each) mini phyllo dough shells (I found these in the freezer aisle)
Directions:
- HEAT oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small saucepan, add apples, sugar, cinnamon, butter, ginger and water. On Medium heat bring apple mixture to a simmer and cover, cook for 5 minutes then remove from heat.
- FILL each phyllo shell with a teaspoon of filling.
- PLACE on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- BAKE for 8-10 minutes.
- SERVE warm or at room temperature.
I found these in the frozen food aisle by pie crusts:

The best thing about this Apple Tartlet is that it only has 1/8 cup sugar. I am making this over the weekend.

These look good and are so pretty too. Top them with a little color and your all set.

This looks SO GOOD. Thank you for sharing these with us all. And I love your name. Cher: Dionne and I were both named after famous singers of the past, who now do infomercials.

These would be great for a party I am hosting next week. Can you taste the ginger? The husband loves the taste of ginger but I am not a fan. Either way will give these a try.
Stopping by from SITS Comment Love. 🙂
