This is one of the best recycling ideas I have read in a while I just had to pin this!!
I can’t even count how many of those plastic hangers I have thrown in the recycle bins or told the stores to keep them.
Plus e lose those clips all the time or the grandkids break them, because they are cheap plastic! I have actually started wrapping rubber bands around my chip bags. This idea will save me from some of those hurtful rubbing bands from snapping back! Ouch!

Even though I have seen it many times before, I never put one + one together and thought to get a hanger out of the closet and use it as a chip clip. But I thank you for the nice idea.
