When I was younger, I remember feeling that wearing glasses would make me a cool kid. I started wearing glasses in 7th grade and at the time it was a huge chunk of money to buy them and replace them. We never had vision insurance growing up and even to this day I still don’t have insurance. VSP Direct, offered by VSP Vision Care, is a premium individual vision insurance that is available at an affordable price. The benefits can be purchased for yourself or as a gift with plans starting at just under $18 per month, yes affordable! Having vision insurance allows individuals to have access to a large selection of frames from classic styles to trendy, including styles from brands like bebe.
Still not sure about VSP Direct? Here are some other things to know about VSP Direct Vision Care:
- They are the nation’s largest not-for-profit vision care company
- Available in most states
- The coverage includes an eye exam with a low co-pay and allowances for glasses or contact lens enhancements
- Lowest out-of-pocket costs (typical annual savings of more than $200)
- 100% satisfaction guaranteed
- 30,000 doctors in convenient locations
I don’t even want to think about how much I spend on eyewear each year. I am definitely looking forward to saving some money through VSP Direct! I purchase glasses every few years but I do get an eye exam every year just to make sure my prescription hasn’t changed drastically. Eye exams alone can cost around $40 and contact exams cost even more, so that is a savings right there I’d use. I do buy contact lenses every year and hopefully I can save some money in that department too!
And here are some more bebe glasses styles I found:
Also, don’t forget to check out the Insure Your Look Sweepstakes from VSP Direct for a chance to win a $500 bebe gift card and year of free vision coverage from VSP Direct.
What would you do with the money you save on your eye care?
