    Fun & Adorable New Magnets & Notes From Manhattan Toy Company {Review}

    There are not too many things all my kids can agree that they like, but two of those things are magnets and coloring/writing.  One of them is doing one of those things at all times.  It amazes me how the simplest things can impress them and keep them entertained.  Well Manhattan Toy Company is a company that knows what they are doing when it comes to kid products.  They are a brand my family is very familiar with and love, and they once again amazed my kids with their new i CAN tins and Notes N’ Stuff set.

    First I’ll start with the Imagine iCAN tin.  I recovered the Character Mix-Up tin and we actually took it on our 7-day cruise with us to entertain the kids!  They played with it every day and now that we are home they are still enjoying it.  It is a toy that is carried from room to room, which it can easily be since it is contained in a tin box with a handle!  There are three sets total available, sure to appeal to any kid.

    So the Character Mix-Up set comes with 101 magnetized pieces and four paper background scenes.  Kids just pick a scene and place it in one side of the tin and then use the magnets to fill in the scene.  The magnets are actually thick pieces, not those cheap pieces that bend easily.  I am really impressed with the magnet quality.  The paper scenes are honestly a little flimsy for us and are showing a lot of signs of wear and tear.  I’d prefer those to be on a thicker paper or card stock so they are more durable, but fortunately the magnets are high quality.  Then there is the tin, which I mentioned has a carrying handle.  It holds everything inside and is easy to take with you, hence us taking it with us to the Caribbean!  My daughter used it on the airplane, in our room on our cruise and recently I even took it with to the restaurant we went to.  It is about the size of a regular sheet of paper, but thicker of course.

    The Notes N’ Stuff set is another product I checked out from Manhattan Toy Company.  It is an adorable little set for any budding writer or artist.  My daughter has been carrying it around for days now and loves that she has her own little items to use.  I love that it is all contained in the nice tin lunchbox.  It is even big enough that she can fit a few more things inside.  The journal has a wood cover and back, no sticker, I was actually amazed by that.  Then it has everything else she’d need including a pencil sharpener!  The stamps do need some pressure but she is getting the hang of it, I can do it just fine.  The Zebra is actually a magnet and sticks to the inside of the lunchbox if you want with a note.  Seriously super cute!  While it doesn’t contain much for the $20 price tag, it does contain quality  pieces and ones that will last.

    Overall, I would recommend both products in a heartbeat.  They make great gifts and I am amazed how entertaining they have been for my kids, not to mention that they are also affordable.  There are not too many toys that can hold their attention long but like I said Manhattan Toy Company has done it again.
