Disclosure: I am a Denny’s ambassador and will receive compensation and products in exchange for sharing this information and my honest opinion.
Denny’s to me has always represented home. I remember going there with my family when I was younger and then I pretty much lived at Denny’s when I was in high school. What do I love about Denny’s? Well the prices for starters, its affordable without sacrificing quality. Next is the menu which I feel like is constantly evolving, which is great. I love that they keep up with the times and popular foods. For example, avocados are in right now so you can add fresh avocado to any entree for a small price.
The kid’s menu though is the newest change and not only did the menu get a makeover but Denny’s has partnered with National Geographic to keep the whole family entertained. The kid’s menu actually opens up for kids to complete some National Geographic activities. There is the Stump Your Parents, Weird but True!, Bet you didn’t know, coloring, fill in the blank (like Madlibs but an animal version) and more! It is a menu that kids will want to keep! Its super cute how they redesigned the menu to incorporate so much into it! I honestly am all about keeping my kids entertained while at a restaurant and this National Geographic Denny’s menu will definitely do that and they will be learning at the same time! Claudia Malley, EVP and Worldwide Publisher of National Geographic Global Media says “Our fun animal acts are so outrageous kids won’t even realize they’re learning!” Like the menu says how Meerkats have too watch out for snacks or eagles that want to eat them – I find it hysterical that a snake can eat something like a meerkat!
In addition to the National Geographic fun, the Denny’s kids meal choices offers tons of delicious and balanced dishes for little explorers. Several items were verified by the Kids LiveWell program, created by the National Restaurant Association, which means the meals contain fruit and vegetables, lean protein, whole grains and low-fat dairy while limiting unhealthy fats, sugars and sodium. So kids can select healthier alternatives for a meal that is both balanced and delicious. There are three breakfast dishes starting at just $3.29, that give kids the fuel to tackle any adventure. With items such as Build Your Own Jr. Grand Slam and Chocolate Chip Pancakes, kids have some great choices available. When it comes for lunch or dinner time, kids can choose from meals such as spaghetti with broccoli, Mac & Cheeese with dippable veggies or the Groovy Mango Smoothie.
Here is one of my kid’s favorites from when we visit Denny’s, yes it’s just a cup but its super cute!
Here are just some of the kid choices:
The Denny’s “Adventure Menu” has launched nationwide and is available all day, every day with prices starting at just $3.29 for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert items. Oh and Denny’s does have a Kids Eat Free day, just check with your local Denny’s for participation.

I love the partnership so much. It’s really nice to see an educational partnership rather than just a movie tie-in.

We haven’t had a Denny’s near us in years, but we do get to visit when we travel. It’s one of the best places to have breakfast in the south when we visit our relatives. I am decidedly happier when the kids menu both engages my children and helps them really select what they want to eat.
