So I am not someone who freaks out about germs but I do worry about infections with my kids. They seem to get cuts and scrapes practically hourly in the summer and cheap bandages don’t usually still well once I put the cut cream on them. Then there is the whole swimming thing, which I feel like swimming can clean out a boo boo but that is not always the case either. Recently my in-laws took my kids fishing and they were of course jumping around the dirty lake water. Thankfully none of them had an open wound but if they had, those germs could have easily attacked them through their cuts. Then I worry because my son has a heart condition and I remember the cardiologist saying how infections can go to his heart, extreme I know but possible.
Well now there is Nexcare 3M Waterproof bandages that are pretty much a must in the summertime or anytime you are going to be around water. They feature a 360-degree seal that is breathable while still superior against germs and dirt. What is awesome though (other than being waterproof) is that they are designed to fit and stay where you need it, like knees and elbows.
How affective though are they really on germs? Well a nana took the challenge to see how well the Nexcare 3M Waterproof bandage would work? I warn you the video is gross, but effective! I am definitely stocking up on these bandages this summer because my boys live in the pool in the summer and now I don’t have to worry about germs or floating bandages in the pool!
