      Something good today was saving a baby bird. Luckily I was outside when the dog started to get it and heard the mama bird screaming. Took several minutes to get him safely away enough (neighbors backyard) but mama bird followed us so all should be fine. 🙂

      I’ve been watching one of my favorite shows most of the day “Desperate Housewives”. Netflix has introduced to me to shows I would’ve never watched but boy am I glad I gave them a try. I’m having a great time watching it.

      I got my lil’ dogs hair cut, trimmed nails and a good brushing. Looks so darling and saved myself $40 by doing it myself.

      My dog didn’t have an accident today! He is afraid of thunderstorms and unfortunately we have been getting them earlier in the day when he is home alone.

      Today, I woke up and didn’t feel too bad. My dad died not too long ago and I was gone for about a month to help care for him and finally take him back to his childhood home to be buried. It was stressful and I’m pretty sure I got a hundred new gray hairs. 🙂 I’m glad he isn’t suffering and in pain anymore. He told us that he didn’t want us to be sad for very long. I’m honoring that wish with a smile on my face for the memories and the good times I can enjoy today with my kids. They are outside having fun in the sun, trying to spray each other down with a garden hose. 🙂 Happy day.

      nothing too good today unfortunately lol. my baby apparently learned how to crawl out of his crib. he got out this morning when i was sleeping and somehow took the security lock off our back door handle. when i woke up i noticed the door was open and when i went outside, he was playing by his kiddie pool and was covered in mud. two of my neighbors were out in their yards and gave me the nastiest looks like a was terrible parent. i went to my sons room and switched the door handle around where it can be locked from the outside and will make sure that every night from now on he’s locked in b/f we go to sleep lol

      Hung out at all the little parks and beaches along Lake Washington in Seattle, saw 3 great blue herons, 2 bald eagles, 1 osprey and of course tons of ducks, geese, robins, and swallows. Birds are neat!

      We went to the park on the lake and had a nice time there as a family. It helped us to distress. My son liked riding on the carousel.

      Today was an awesome day! I took a day off of work and took my kids to a local county fair and had a blast! Then I went to a wonderful Bible study! Great day!

      I got to see one of my daughters volleyball games FINALLY (missing an awful lot of life lately) and I got a great pic of her jumping about 3 feet off the ground for a save. Made me happy but her even more happy I think for me to be there.

      We got the carpet cleaner fixed for a minute, then it broke again. I guess it is a good thing because the floor got cleaned while it worked.

      We got rid of one more kitten, just 3 more left and I can’t wait til they are gone. Don’t get me wrong, they are adorable but they are not fully litter trained so they are peeping and pooping everywhere. Not a responsibility I like

      I found the cutest maxi skirt at Target today. It was dark purple with teal stripes. I even found the perfect tank top to match it. And they were both on clearance!

      I live in a nursing home and have a vegetable garden. I picked some zucchini, string beans and cucumbers and gave it to some of the staff. They work really hard and it makes me happy to be able to thank them for everything they do for me and others.
