Disclosure: I received a few products in exchange for sharing this information.
SwimWays has partnered with a great partner this year called Operation Smile. Who is Operation Smile? They are an international children’s medical charity whose mission is to heal children’s smiles. Operation Smile provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe. I think SwimWays is awesome to partner to help kids smiles. Its terrible to think how every three minutes a child is born with a cleft, but great that Operation Smile is doing is something about it. A child with a cleft has more problems than just their smile, which I wasn’t aware of. Having a cleft increases a child’s odds of dying before their first birthday, in addition to difficulty eating, speaking, hearing or breathing properly. Since 1982, Operation Smiles has provided 220,000 free surgical procedures for children and young adults.
Swimming always makes my family happy and every child deserves an amazing smile. We had the chance to have a pool party so I can share information about Operation Smile. My family and friends had no clue about Operation Smile or how to help them.
Well SwimWays has made it easy to host your own ‘Pool Party With a Purpose‘ to help spread awareness and raise surgery funds for Operation Smile so they can help even more children born with cleft lip or cleft palate. Operation Smile can provide a surgery for just $240.
