Come join in the holiday fun with Prima Princessa as she take you to magical show filled with snow fairies, toy soldiers, tutus and more. Watch real ballet excerpts of The Nutcracker and demonstrations of ballet steps by students from The School of American Ballet. An animated fairy princess ballerina serves as your guide during the show and will encourage you to dance along.
The Parent’s Choice Award winning Christmas Show “Prima Princessa Presents the Nutcracker” has aired on more than 400 PBS and Public Television stations nationwide.
And starting in Nov. 2014 Nutcracker will be available for Instant Video Download on Amazon.com. “Prima Princessa Presents the Nutcracker” is a 60 minute Christmas Special for children 3-6, where viewers are encouraged to put on their tutus and get up and dance along as the cartoon fairy Prima Princessa takes you on a magical adventure to see a live performance of the Nutcracker, featuring England’s Birmingham Royal Ballet. Prima Princessa narrates the story so kids can understand the plot, and between acts, they come back home and have mini-ballet lessons from students at the School of American Ballet, the official academy of the New York City Ballet.
Princessa Productions also has a “Ballet for Beginners” Book, and a website www.PrimaPrincessa.com which has a ballet dictionary, ballet coloring pages, crafts for kids, preschool games, and listings of ballet schools and ballet companies nationwide and more!
