First off you may be like what “Ham for Thanksgiving?” Actually HoneyBaked Ham has Turkeys and Turkey Breasts as well! Although I will say we actually cook both a ham and turkey for Thanksgiving to make everyone in my family happy. You can never have enough meat, right? Last year for Thanksgiving I had 22 people over, and all but three were adults. This year I am not having as many people but I will probably still be making a ton of food. Luckily my mom offered to take the kids the day before so I can get some actual cooking and last minute shopping done. If she couldn’t take the kids though I don’t know that I would be able to get everything done on my own since my husband can’t take any time off.
For those times when you just need an extra hand, HoneyBaked Ham is the perfect secret touch. I say secret because no one has to know that HoneyBaked Ham did all the work! From whole turkeys to turkey breasts to hams and all the sides, you can easily create a whole meal with help from HoneyBaked Ham. It can be a just because meal or a holiday meal, with HoneyBaked Ham it is sure to be an amazing feast!
This week my family was craving a turkey meal so I headed over to HoneyBaked Ham in Naperville, IL, and checked out what they had. I didn’t have the time to slave in the kitchen and honestly I am not someone who enjoys all day cooking. I live just 15 minutes from our local HoneyBaked Ham so I headed there and picked up dinner. They had a huge selection of entrees, sides and desserts that I had a hard time narrowing down our choices! I ended up with a Turkey Breast and three sides.
The best part though, the Turkey Breast is already cooked! You just have to open it up and eat it! I will say I have never tasted a better Turkey Breast before, ever! It was coated with the HoneyBaked Ham signature sweet, crunchy glaze that is seriously amazing. I had bought Turkey Gravy but the turkey didn’t even need it! I wish I could put into words just how amazing the glaze is but it is something that just has to be tasted!
So in just about 30 minutes I had an amazing turkey dinner on the table for my family! My husband was thrilled to come home from work to it and my kids loved having turkey, since we tend to only have it at Thanksgiving due to all the work it takes for the turkey. Now that I know how easy it is to have a turkey dinner thanks to HoneyBaked Ham, I see many turkey dinners in our future! Sure the prices from HoneyBaked Ham are a little more than if you were to make it homemade, but its worth it! No sink full of dirty dishes, no day stuck in the kitchen and no fridge full old leftovers. We are a family of five and we are actually going to get three meals out of the Turkey Breast meal I picked up – which again makes the price worth it!
I did transfer the sides from their black containers to my new pretty dishes:
Ahhh, love that I didn’t have to use my stove, just heated everything up! From the fridge/freezer to the microwave to my table!
