    Lalaloopsy Color Me Squiggles N’ Shapes Doll {Review}

    My daughter loves Lalaloopsy and she loves to color.  I figured it was a no-brainer that she would like the Lalaloopsy Color Me Squiggles N’ Shapes Doll, which of course it was a hit in our house.

    What is the Lalaloopsy Color Me Squiggles N’ Shapes Doll? She is a doll that comes in white or black and encourages kids to draw, color, and stamp their own creative designs onto a Lalaloopsy Color Me doll and her pet.  She comes with four markers and two stamps, with the markers not able to rub off on fabric or skin.

    The best part?  She is erasable!  When your child is done (it is recommended within 48 hours) they just use the sponge or even damp clothe to wipe off the color.  The color won’t rub off on skin or fabric so you don’t have to worry about that.

    The doll is adorable and she is a decent sized doll.  The markers included are special and do require a lot of shaking before used but other then that they work well.  We didn’t have any problems with the markers not coming off our doll and my daughter seems to understand that she can only draw on her doll.  The stamps are a nice bonus and easy to use, you just color the stamp with the marker and stamp it on, no stamp pad required.

    I was worried about her being messy but the markers work well on her and don’t seem to leak onto skin or your kids’s fabric.  I will say though I wish there was an easy way to buy refill markers as we have lost a few of the colors already.  She cleans up well overall though and she has entertained my daughter for a lot longer than I expected.

      I have a 1 year old grand daughter and I would love to play with her learning and find the artist in her. Its my 1st and love her to death. This could be Savanah and Grammies art project for the next few visits and I could put in a shadow box to remember our very first art together.

      Haha, I am the lalaloopsy fan in my house, I just love the style, it’s so me and I would have had to have the whole collection as a child, I believe these would’ve made me throw my Barbies in the corner and forget about them! My son loves them because then he can get me to play more, I don’t really care for playing “super-heroes” and fighting with guys but I will get down with some lalaloopsy! 🙂

      I’ve become very picky about what my kids watch. So many of the cartoons today are just plain ridiculous and teach the kids nothing. Shows like Spongebob, Uncle Grandpa, Regular Show, Amazing World of Gumball, Sanjay and Craig are just plain silly. My kids used to watch them and then were copying the shows and getting themselves in trouble so I cut all of those shows out of their cartoon watching choices. Lalaloopsy, though more designed for girls still keeps the interest of my boys and actually teaches them good lessons like sharing and helping others. The characters are cute and the story lines are easy to follow. There are male characters on the show along with the female characters so boys can get into it too. I don’t have any of the toys yet because they are mainly dolls which my boys won’t play with, but I do have 2 nieces that may get into it as they get older. This would be a great gift for them.

      My daughters, June and Joee, are 4 and 22 months old.. they both LOVE Lalaloopsy! They like the fun outfits, the button eyes, the fun names.. everything 🙂 I love them because of their uniqueness! Thanks for the chance..

      My daughter LOVES Lalas! I think it’s a mixture of everything…their big heads and crazy hair, the fun outfits, the bright colors! She’s wanted this doll for Christmas…but she asked too late…I’d already spent too much!! LOL Thanks for the awesome review!!

      I think the attraction is how different they look from other cartoons and dolls. Very eye-catching. I swear I’ve seen a 4 month old hypnotized by them when we put her in front of the tv while it was on.
