    My boys are always building something and my 3 year old is constantly trying to build them.  Well Learning Resources has a product that appeals to my daughter’s desire to build and her love of flowers!

    Build & Bloom Building Set

    The Build & Bloom Building Set contains 116 pieces from various colored gears to flowers, stems, butterflies, bees and more.  There are base pieces that the gears snap onto and the flower stems then you can move the gears around to watch them all move.  My boys had something similar to this when they were younger and loved it, its funny how such a simple toy can encourage so much fun.  When my daughter first opened it, she said for an hour and played with it. That was a huge chunk of time for her to play with a toy.  Since then this set has become a daily fixture in our family room. After putting it away a few times and my daughter asking for it again I decided to just leave it out!
    Even my 6 year old son started playing with it and building with it.  The set really does have a lot of pieces that a few kids could play with it at one and have plenty to do.  I love when toys have enough pieces for kids to share otherwise there tends to be fighting with kids with want this piece or that piece.  The gears are all super bright and colorful too, it is nearly impossible for a kid to not want to play with them!

      The Jumbo Farm Counters would be handy in our household and I know my kids would very much enjoy using them to learn!

      The Jumbo Jungle Animals. My daughter is really into animals right now and would love to play with these.

      My son would enjoy Deluxe Coin Stamps: Heads. He loves counting money on worksheets. We can create our own practice sheets.

      I love the Pretend and Play Calculator Cash Register! When I was little I always wanted one of these! However, we were pretty poor….so that didn’t happen. I could live a little through my precious granddaughter right? haha She would actually love playing with this. What kid doesn’t want to play with these? haha

      I laughed at the Skeleton Floor puzzle. I know some kids would like that. A puzzle and science, too. Lots of fun things on that site. I see future birthday gifts.

      I think I would like to get one of the auditory products they have, like the Easi-Speak™ USB Recorder or the MeCorder™, Mini Video Recorder. My son and grand son have speech delays and this may be helpful.
