From Tinkertoys to Lincoln Logs, K’NEX products are everywhere in my house. Another line my family loves from K’NEX is the regular ole’ Model Building Sets. The sets come in various piece sizes and include tons of great building ideas. I got the chance to check out the biggest set so far which includes 705 pieces and 70 building ideas!
K’NEX 70 Model Building Set
This set comes with enough pieces that I wouldn’t think it is impossible to ever get bored of it. With so many pieces not only can multiple kids built stuff at once but they can actually keep their creations built whole building something else. That is usually what drives my kids crazy. They build something but then to build something else they have to take apart what they just built because they don’t have enough pieces. This is the biggest set we have from K’NEX for these pieces. It also differs from other sets we have as it comes in a cardboard box, not plastic one like some of the others. The cardboard is sturdy and durable but it is still just cardboard.
What I love about these K’NEX sets is you really can build almost anything, not just square buildings and things. My kids are constantly amazing me with what they comes up with. Like I said too with so many pieces there is no fighting over pieces or having to destroy creations, everyone is happy. I just pull this out and my kids start building. It’s funny too as each of my kids are geared towards a different line of K’NEX products, the regular K’NEX Model Building Sets appeal to my 6 year old who could sit with it all day long.

These are such cool creations! My daughter loves to play with K’nex whenever she has a chance. We don’t own any, so she enjoys them at the children’s museums! Lol
