Disclosure: I have been compensated for this campaign and received products in exchange for sharing my honest opinion and this information.
Runny noses, a cough, or even a headache are problems that I can usually easily take care of. Take a pill or some cough syrup and magically I start to feel better. A sore throat though can linger and basically throw my whole day off. If it hurts to talk then I can’t communicate with my family. If it hurts to swallow then I can’t eat and therefore become irritable. If it hurts to swallow then I’m just miserable all together because that is something I can’t help but do.
My Tips for Staying Healthy While On-the-Go
- Carry a water bottle with me. Whenever I leave the house I make sure to fill up my water bottle so I always have water on hand.
- Keep hand sanitizer and wipes in my car and bag. Since I can’t always wash my hands while out running around I use a lot of hand sanitizer and wet wiptes to keep my hands clean.
- Avoid sickness. This one is hard of course but if I know there is a lot of cases of a certain illness in my area then I try to limit going out as much as I can. There is the Chloraseptic Cough + Flu Tracker which is great to check out.
- Wear my pedometer. This is important to me because whenever I wear my pedometer I tend to walk more and try to beat my previous day’s steps. By walking more I am keeping my body moving and active which is important. I will even use this to walk up and down the stairs in my house more if I’m not going out.
- Carry Chloraseptic® Sore Throat Lozenges with me at all times, especially in the cold season. The soothing liquid center in them just feels so good on a sore throat and they offer fast-acting relief for sore throat and mouth pain.
- In addition to Chloraseptic® Sore Throat Lozenges, I like to use Chloraseptic® Sore Throat spray first thing in the morning if I feel that tingling of pain to be proactive with a sore throat, then throughout the day I suck on the lozenges as needed. When I travel though I bring both so I am always prepared since I tend to get a lot of sore throats after traveling,
From throat sprays to lozenges, Chloraseptic® has a product to keep the whole family going all day. I know for me I like to use a throat spray in the morning and evening and then throughout the day I like to suck on lozenges for that soothing feeling. Did you know that Chloraseptic® is actually the No. 1 pharmacist-recommend sore throat relief brand?(*) I think Chloraseptic® is definitely doing something right if it earned that title because pharmacists have a lot of products they could recommend and choosing Chloraseptic® says something. Picky about flavor? Chloraseptic® Sore Throat sprays come in a variety of flavors including Cherry, Warming Honey Lemon, Grape made just for kids and Max Wild Berry with a target sprayer.
*Lozenges tied for #1
What I love about Chloraseptic® products is they really do help me get through the day. I don’t have the opportunity for a sick day as I have three kids who depend on me to take care of them. My kids don’t have time to get sick either as they particpate in activites and even with school, I hate for them to miss anything unless absolutely necessary. Oh and of course when one person in our family is sick it seems to move onto the next one and I don’t have time or energy to handle constant sickness. Fast Acting is a must!
