    Nolan’s always wanted his own backhoe! So when he finds a stray backhoe in the street, he can’t wait to adopt it. But this backhoe is not very well behaved. As Nolan tries to train his new pet, he learns that maybe this backhoe already has a home.

    This delightful story of a boy and his construction vehicle is brought to life with Craig Cameron’s vibrant illustrations, making this the perfect addition to every young reader’s library.

    My boys have always love trucks, my 8 year old especially loves construction trucks.  I will say I am sad that he is getting older and doesn’t play with his little construction trunks like he used to, but I guess he does have to grow up!  I wasn’t sure if he would think this book was too babyish, but he didn’t and he loves it!  He has been struggling with reading but this book has made it fun for him to read and he loves that he can read it on his own.  It is a great picture book for young and old kids to enjoy, especially ones that like construction trucks. The story is about a boy who brings a backhoe home like a pet and he learns to train it and take care of it.  This book would be a great silly book too if your child wants a pet so they can see what responsibility is like.

      My son loves big tractors and older cars Fords and Chevy’s from the 50s’s and 60’s. My daughter likes tractors too.

      My grandson plays with a Tonka truck that was my son’s when he was little. That is his “go to ” toy when he’s at Grandma’s.

      The boys love the dump truck and digger they have. When it’s warm enough they dig up the yard with it ! It’s ok though, just little holes. Would love to win this book for them ! Thank you for the chance !!

      My great nephew likes all kinds of cars. He has big ones and small ones and just loves to run them around 🙂 I guess his favorite cars are the hot wheels; I don’t know if those have specific types of cars or not, lol

      my grandsons are so in to trucks and cars,I think the favorite right now is a dump truck,,seems to be the toy they go to first at my house
