Cat & Bunny
Publisher: HarperCollins (January 27, 2015)
Format: Hardcover
32 Pages
From the heartwarming text to the adorable illustrations of little kids dressed as animals, there’s so much to love about Mary Lundquist’s debut picture book, Cat & Bunny. Cat and Bunny. Bunny and Cat.
It’s always been just the two of them—daydreaming, having adventures, playing their special game. Until the day someone else asks, “Can I play?”
Mary Lundquist captures all the charm and magic of first friendship in her winning debut picture book.
This is a picture book starring two characters (kids) dressed as a cat and a bunny. It is a story about two friends who have always been just the two of them, until another friend wants to join. Then the one feels left out because its no longer their own special game any more. I love this story for my own kids because my kids struggle with playing with more than one friend at a time and this book is a great example of how everyone can play and have fun together. Its very cute and has beautiful illustrations.
