I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Sprint. I received a Sprint device to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
For the past few weeks I have been using the New Sprint LG G4 and I’m impressed. It is the next generation G series smartphone from LG that has a lot of great technology packed into it.
With two cameras, it takes selfie taking tot he next level which is a rage that I don’t see going away anytime soon. It is the first smartphone from Sprint with a total of 24 megapixels (16MP rear-facing camera and 8 MP front-facing camera) – which translates to awesome photos.
Here are some pictures I took with it:
Here is my favorite picture, I took it from my back deck:
Now here is another picture I zoomed in on the tree from the same spot – Amazing detail!
The rest of the features are pretty standard but for the value of the phone it really is a great deal. I love that it runs off the Android operating system which I have become used to and that it has 32GB of memory on it – perfect since I tend to take lots of pictures with my smartphone. The talk time is 23 hours and I will say if I am using this phone heavy throughout the day I can get it to last a whole day, if I am using it here and there then I can get it to last a few days.
Sprint has also launched the Thumb Wars Campaign. The Sprint Drive First App can help prevent a young person from using their phone while on the road. It is a FREE app that sends calls to voicemail and silences email and text alerts when a vehicle reaches 10mph. It can even track miles driven as well as lock or enable certain apps. Texting while driving is something that honestly freaks me out. I know that I am a good driver and refrain from using my cell phone but I fear others who do use their phones while driving. It’s not just young people either but people of all ages. Did you know that when texting, a driver spends approximately 10% of their driving time outside of their lane? Which leads to texting drivers being 23 times more likely to get involved in a crash. 40% of American teens still admit to texting and driving. The Sprint Thumb Wars campaign encourages young people to use the power of their thumbs in a fun and engaging way to prevent their friends from texting and driving.
How It Works:
Young people sign up at ThumbWars.org and receive two pairs of yellow anti-texting thumb socks.
Then, they pick a friend or loved one they know who texts and drives and share the socks with them in a surprising way.
They snap a pic of themselves and their friend wearing the thumb socks and send it back to DoSomething.org
Young people can also share important texting-and-driving stats (available on ThumbWars.org) to educate their friends.
Not sure about the cost of getting a new phone? LG is super affordable with Sprint’s new Lease program. It is just $18 per month for 24 months and if you are using the Sprint Family Share Pack Plan, a family of four can share 20GB of data with unlimited talk/text for only $100 a month! That is an awesome deal!

I’m probably going to be switching carriers in the next few months so this is good to know. This camera’s pictures are really nice. This is a great price plan too. Thanks!
