    Just about everything under the sun makes kids as “why?” and even the smartest parents can be stumped. Wildlife expert Jack Hanna is offering up the answers to all animal-related questions in his new book, Jack Hanna’s Big Book of Why, hitting bookstores nationwide and online retailers on July 7th.

    Jack Hanna’s Big Book of Why will take kids and adults on a journey through the animal kingdom with Hanna. The 176-page, hardcover children’s book is organized by habitat—deserts, grasslands, forests, rainforests, the ocean and poles—and in addition to answering the critter questions children love to ask, it features close-up color photographs, illustrations and amazing facts and quizzes about creatures from around the world.

    “Whether you’re a parent, teacher, aunt, uncle or grandparent, you’ve surely been unable to answer a question that a child in your life has asked you,” Hanna said. “This book answers some of those tough animal related questions—Why don’t fish sink? Why can’t penguins fly?—in a format that makes learning fun and easy for children!”

    This is an awesome book! I wasn’t sure it would be easy enough for my kids on their own but it is. My 8 year old son sits with this book and I love seeing him soak in all the animal facts and it gets him thinking. I love that the book is entertaining my kids and they are learning so much from it. The book is formatted so its not overwhelming and it is full of real life pictures of animals. There are questions asked and then the answers, quizzes, fast facts and so much information jam packed. For curious kids whether they are big animal lovers or not, this book is sure to get kids interested. I even find myself browsing the book and there is so much I have learned from it!

      Here are my childrens’ favorite animals: elephant, dolphin, cat, shark or cheetah, lizard, and dog.

      Oh my son really wants this book ever since we saw it in a magazine he gets. My son is all about the cats. He will be a crazy cat lady some day I tell you!

      What a cute book, my kids would love this. My son’s favorite animals are dogs and wolves and my daughter loves cats.

      My granddaughter and I loved watching Jack Hanna on Saturday mornings before she moved to Alaska. I miss her so much! Her favorite animal changes daily because she is a 3 year old, but as far as I know…she LOVES zebra’s! God bless and good luck everyone!
