Disclosure: I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
A sharp knife is something that is a must have in any kitchen. In my house I practically cut stuff up daily and I don’t have the time or patience for dull knives. We used to have a knife sharpener but that got lost somewhere in our kitchen junk drawers.
Well Calphalon has come out with a genius product that not only stores the awesome Calphalon knives but it also sharpens them! Calphalon Self-Sharpening Cutlery sets with SharpIN™ technology feature ceramic sharpeners built right into all straight-edge knife slots. The in-block sharpeners ensure that the knives are sharp and ready every time they need to be.
No more separate or difficult to handle knife sharpeners. No more either cutting with a knife that is not sharp. With Calphalon SharpIN™ knives can stay sharp for a lifetime! I got the chance to check out the new 12 pc. Classic Self-Sharpening Cutlery and it has been a hit in my kitchen. We have never had a knife block on our kitchen counter before but boy does it making it a lot easier for kitchen prep. No more digging in drawers for knives, which I have done before and cut myself. I can’t believe either what a difference a sharp knife really makes, I guess its been awhile since we have had some.
A sharp knife should cut without hesitation safely and effortlessly. SharpIN™ technology allows home cooks to have sharp knives on hand. Calphalon Self-Sharpening Cutlery is available in a variety of product lines, including the Classic, Contemporary and Precision. I tried out the Classic set which is made from high-carbon and no-stain forged steel. Each knife is conveniently labeled on the end of the handle for easy identification in the block. Each knife has a place. I love that the spots are labeled as honestly I am knife-clueless.
BUY IT: Calphalon Self-Sharpening Cutlery featuring SharpIN™ Technology are available at major kitchen retailers including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Macy’s, JC Penney, Kohl’s and Belk.
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive a Calphalon Self-Sharpening Cutlery Set

It would be so nice to have matching easy to reach and sharp cut knives verses my thrift store or old school knives from 38yrs of marriage lol. I would take enjoyment in using them to make a hearty pot of beef stew to freeze up for the cooler months ahead. My hubby is just now getting his taste buds back after chemo and the beef and all the veggies would be great to use them on for a great easy meal prep. This Calphalon Self-Sharpening Cutlery Set is really elegant in style. Thanks
