Okay so Nanny McPhee Returns and TwitterMoms has joined forces and wants to now Five Lessons Every Kid Should Know, so here are mine:
- Always wear clean underwear!
- Don’t hit, spit, kick, or basically hurt anyone just because! (I have two active toddler boys that test this everyday!)
- Mom is always right, no matter what and don’t think you can turn around and ask dad if mom already said no!
- It is important to save some money rather than wasting all of it on toys, cards, or games. (You will hug me in the future when you have a nice savings account to buy a car with instead of a pile of collectible cards, books, or broken toys.)
- Think before you speak and act. Always consider the outcome and other’s feelings before you do anything drastic or stupid.
I know I can come up with more, especially as I learn from my sons, but these are ones I deal with on a regular basis. Anyone want to share their tips?
