Do you love your bathroom? Is your bathroom a happy place, or is your bathroom overcrowded with soaps, shampoos and lotions? Is the hair dryer and curling iron always in the way? Do you cringe every time you walk into your bath? It may be time for a remodel.
A bathroom remodel doesn’t have to be extravagant. Come up with a theme: under the sea, fishing, or maybe a simple color. Changing the shower curtain, the soap dispenser, toothbrush holder and the waste basket can spruce up the room. Have a clean out day.
Go through all the bathroom stuff and throw away anything you haven’t used in the past few months. Any unopened items can be donated to a local thrift store or homeless shelter. You will be surprised by the storage space that a clean out can create.
Storage Secrets
Look at your bathroom space with an eye for storage. Use the space above the toilet for a cabinet or shelves. Install wire closet shelves above the tub to store shampoo, conditioner or body wash bottles. These plastic covered shelves make ideal washcloth holders. Maybe you have an unused corner where some shelves or a cabinet might be useful. Install a hairdryer holder near the plug to keep it off the counter. Or dedicate a drawer just for electrical items.
Changing the sink cabinet or vanity can bring a bathroom back to life. Keep with your theme by painting the walls and ceiling. A little paint can brighten a dull space. There are special paints for tile you might want to consider. Cleaning or replacing tile grout can turn a dull bath into a bright and shiny room. Changing the toilet seat can make the bathroom a much more pleasant place to spend your time. Get creative and let your imagination run wild.

I need more storage in my bathroom for all my towels and I like the idea if I am not using items to donate it and get rid of the clutter that is in my bathroom. Thanks for the tips.
