    Rubbermaid Reveal Mop Review

    The Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop helps moms save more and waste less.  It comes with a microfiber pad that is reusable so you no longer have to buy disposable pads.  The Reveal also picks up 50% more dirt and dust per swipe than traditional mops.  To save more money there is a refillable spray bottle that allows you to fill with your favorite household cleaner or use plain hot water.  Best of all it takes no batteries!

    It is safe to use on all hard floors including vinyl, hardwood, laminate and tile.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    When I got this new mop from Rubbermaid to check out, I wondered how different it could be from a other mops.  First off, there are no disposable pads to buy, no special cleaning solutions to buy, and no batteries to replace!  Pushing the Reveal mop around, I first realized how lightweight but still sturdy it is (I have broken other brands of mops like this by pushing too hard!)

    To use, all you have to do is Velcro on the microfiber pad (which is machine washable) and fill the bottle with your choice of cleaning solution.  I chose a homemade one I received from Rubbermaid consisting of 1 Tablespoon white vinegar, 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil and hot water.  I admit I was skeptical with this recipe because vegetable oil just seemed greasy to me, but it worked wonders on my hardwood floors!  The Rubbermaid Reveal mop has such a large cleaning pad surface that it makes mopping go much faster and the cleaning solution sparys the length of the microfiber pad.  The only thing I noticed is that you have to be careful around walls or cabinets, as the sprayer for the cleaning solution is a few inches above the bottom and at the right angle it can spray pretty high which may get on your walls or other surfaces, although the spray is so light that it is not really going to damage anything.

    Overall, the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop definitely surprised me with its durability, ease of use, no batteries or special cleaners, and the thick microfiber pad.  The pad really scrubs your floors and picks up dirt and grime (and believe me with two active boys I have a lot!)  This is a mop I would use anytime and for quick cleans, it is super easy!  I even keep the cleaning solution in the bottle already and always have a clean microfiber pad on hand so I can just grab, spray, and wipe in one motion!  I would definitely recommend this product if you have had problems with other mops in the past and since this is a Rubbermaid product, you know you can trust its reputation!

      Wow, it looks like it has a huge base, nice. I just did the floors on Thursday with one of those twist mops. I always have sore forearms afterwards and they are so hard to clean. I like how this pops off.

      As for another item, I’m all for the closet organizing kits or one of the fast track kits for the garage.

      I heard about this giveaway because I was “Google-ing” Rubbermaid Reveal mops, as I am interested in buying one. I’m currently using the Swiffer, and I love not mopping, but I HATE buying the refills. I’m out and I’m waiting on my order from Soap.com to come in so I want my floors cleaned (especially with a 9 month old) but I don’t want to get on my hands and knees to do it. So, in addition to not adding to landfills, this is a PERFECT tool I want because I love, LOVE a clean house, clean floors, and I can do it chemical free with this! Thanks for the giveaway!

      I have checked both Target and Walmart stores by me and neither have any of these! This is the rubbermaid product I’d like most, but if I had to name another, I’d name the slide out lid and pan organizer.

      The product I like is super simple, but its the rubbermaid storage containers…I store off season clothes in them, toys for the next child…just everything…couldn’t live without them.

      Oh my Gosh…I am a Rubbermaid junkie…we have a small house and need to use about a million totes for off season , holiday, & some kitchen storage. WHAT Id like to have is the Tract system for the garage and the Vertical Ball Storage too. (We’d need about a dozen of these!)

      I know this is a way different product, but I love the Rubbermaid disposable takealong containers! I make a lot of meals for people when they have babies or have a health issue and it is so nice to be able to leave the containers and not have them worry about returning them!
