    My family has been enjoying Just Dance games for a few years now and they literally get us up and moving. In the winter especially when we are cooped inside, I love that none of us can resist Just Dance. I will say even last year on Christmas we broke out Just Dance and everyone played, it was our entertainment for the day with our family – even my mom got up and played!

    Just Dance 2017 is jam packed with tons of great songs (over 40 new tracks to be exact) that are all about getting people up and dancing. The songs are not all new either, there are classics (including Queen) and some foreign dance songs as well. You pick a track and you are ready to go. There is more to the game as well, but we tend to pick a song and just dance. The six different dance modes make it so the game doesn’t get old for the player, fun to try out the different modes.

    Some special features only for Wii U, Xbox One and PS4

    If you have the Wii U, Xbox One or PS4 version of the game, the newest feature is you don’t need to use the controller. The Just Dance App can be downloaded and used to track moves to keep score – no camera, Kinect or PS Move required! You can even take photos of your Just Dance moments, apply fun filters and share them on social media. The app allows you to use Just Dance TV anywhere, anytime to watch, like and share videos including autodances, dance lessons, behind the scenes and Just Dance minutes. Oh and you can even play with up to six players simultaneously.

    There is also the “Just Dance Machine” mode that is available with Wii U, Xbox One and PS4. The story is that aliens abducted you and need your dance energy to refill their spaceship’s batteries to go back home. Each dance session is composed of five short exclusive and unique dance experiences that span different types of dance: Flamenco, Charleston, Ballet, Haka, French Cancan…never seen before on Just Dance! If you provide the aliens with enough energy they will unlock new dance segments for you to try and help them out.

    You can even customize workouts with “Sweat + Playlists!” This makes workouts fun by creating playlists with your favorite tracks or launching the non-stop shuffle mode. You can even track your calories burnt, time spent dancing and number of songs played.

    Want more songs?

    The dance-on-demand service is back with this edition to allow users to download more than 200 songs. You do have to pay for the additional songs, but if you want new songs at least its an option. A time-limited access to Just Dance Unlimited comes in every box of Just Dance 2017 so you can try it out!

    I feel like Just Dance too helps us all become better dancers. Sure we look silly moving and grooving, but it does help us coordinate with our bodies better. I never know how to dance right to different songs and with this game series it has helped out my rhythm and coordination. I am by no means a good dancer, but at least I am trying! I love too that I am getting my exercise in especially when its too cold to go out!

    I would consider the added options though for the Wii U, Xbox One and PS4 versions if you have those options. The games cost the same but you get those added bonuses. We currently have Wii U and Xbox 360 and had I known about the added options I may have gotten a different version. I was not a fan of holding the Wii remote for last years Wii U version but love that you don’t need them with this version if you don’t want to – you can use either your smartphone or controller.

      As much as she would hate to admit it, my 7 year old daughter would LOVE to dance to Beiber’s Sorry. Me, on the other hand, I can totally get down with Beyonce!

      My granddaughter would love them all, but I think she would really dance to “Cheap Thrills” by Sia/Sean Paul. She wanted this so bad for Christmas! I hope I win, I will be able to give this to her! God bless and Happy New Year everyone!

      Both my kids love the Just Dance series! We have some of the older years’ versions. And on this one, I know they’d love dancing to Can’t Feel My Face!

      My 11 year old daughter would go insane over Watch Me. She is so into that song and doing the whip/nae nae that she taught it to my 3 year old granddaughter.
