I partnered with this brand in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Did you know last week was Computer Science Education Week? It is crazy for me to think about how far technology has come since I was my children’s ages and how much it is changing daily. Home computers were just coming out and we got out first one when I was around 12 years old. Our computer didn’t do much other than offer a few games and create word documents. I was fascinated with the ins and outs of computers though and taught myself everything I could.
Now I see my own kids sparking interest in computers and computer programming. I love how there are programs and books available today to inspire kids in science and technology.
Brightly is a site that helps parents raise kids who love to read. Since kids come in all shapes and sizes, Brightly covers a little of everything to appeal to whatever your child is into. Since technology is a big deal now, Brightly has written articles to help parents introduce kids to the basics of coding, programming and writing their own software. Perhaps even inspire a few Family Code Nights.
