Did you know the plastic production has soared over the last 50 years? Just looking around my office I see one plastic thing after another. Plastic is everywhere. With plastic comes pollution and health concerns. We also have to worry about oceanic health because so much plastic ends up in our oceans. The National Geographic actually reports that 80 billion bottles are cast adrift into the oceans and landfills with bottle taking more than 400 years to decompose. CNN reports that by 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the world’s oceans!
Closca Bottle represents beauty, design and respect for the environment
Closca has created a revolutionary glass water bottle that is both innovative and stylish – the Closca Bottle. It’s hard to believe that eco-friendly water bottles could be so different, but Closca really is. This company truly cares about our environment and our health. After all, we all need to live here and we all could use some more water in our systems!
What is so great about Closca Bottles?
- Since it’s made of glass and not plastic, it is 100% free of BPA health risks. Additionally, the glass is actually borosilicate glass which is one of the strongest and toughest glasses on the market
- 14 oz. bottle size means you can carry a large amount of liquid
- Fidlock magnet buckle which makes it easily attachable to your bag or bike
- Silicone cover makes this glass bottle easily grippable and protected
- It can be opened from both the top and bottom, which makes adding ice, tea, fruit or water easier.
- It is the first pret-a-porter water bottle which means “sold ready-to-wear as opposed to made to measure”
Need to find somewhere to refill your water bottle?

I think BPA free is a very good idea. When I bought planters to use to plant vegetables/fruit in (since tomato is considered a fruit) we checked to make sure they said BPA free. We also drink filtered water. We use the Seychelle water filter pitchers. Seychelle has water filters that even filter out radiation by products like Cesium (which can build up over time and stay in your bones and other tissues for decades).
