    Sometimes I feel like the United States is the last place to get all the cool stuff. Did you know for decades now that UK’s #1 card game is Top Trumps? I feel like I just heard about Top Trumps and my family is hooked.

    Top Trumps has come out with some fun games that go beyond just cards!

    Top Trumps Match is a game all about getting five matching images in a row – horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Kinda like a combination of Bingo and Matching Games. Kids have to remember which row their opponent went for last and block their opponent. There is a strategy to the game but kids as young as 4 years old can easily start working on their memory skills. The game is easily taken with kids for on-the-go fun as the game board doubles as a carrying case that keeps everything tidy inside!

    I love when games come with a sturdy plastic case as cardboard ones sometimes break in our house plus a case makes it easier to carry around. These games could even be brought while traveling or just visiting family.

    DC Comics Top Trumps Match • Ages 4+ • $19.99

    Join the DC Comics heroes and villains as they battle to see who can get five in a row and win the Match. With iconic characters like Superman, Batman and The Joker, there are loads of cubes and loads of characters. This game is great for memory development and comes in a handy all-in-one unit that you can take anywhere – from Gotham City to Metropolis!

    Despicable Me 3 Top Trumps Match • Ages 4+ • $19.99

As I mentioned earlier, my family loves Top Trumps card games and with so many different choices, there is a card deck for everyone. It is not a card game that has complex rules to remember but rather a game where you just have to beat the other persons number on their card. I’d compare the game to War – who has the highest number. The cards though boast facts and figures that kids can soak in and learn while they are playing.
