While many people may think of September as Fall and Back to School, it is also a time for Star Wars. The new movie “Solo: A Star Wars Story” is bringing a fun-filled galactic heist to homes across the globe with the movie and some branded products.
Here are some of the hot new products sure to put a smile on any new or old Star Wars fans face:
Star Wars Ultimate Co-Pilot Chewie
The Star Wars Ultimate Co-Pilot Chewie is 16 inches tall and features more than 100 sound and motion combinations. He can actually interact with users with movements and sounds. He is the best friend you didn’t know you needed.
Star Wars: Han Solo Card Game
This is a card game for Jedi’s aged 10 and up that is all about outwitting opponents. Players will loose if they take too many risks or they could win the Millennium Falcon. It is a dice and card game that will make players feel like they are the characters in the movie playing! After a few rounds the game is easy enough to pick up and is a game that brings everyone together.
Star Wars Force Link 2.0 Mission on Vandor-1 Figure Pack
This is a set of four figures that stand 3.75 inches tall. They can be displayed or incorporated with the Force Link wearable technology (sold separately.) We don’t have the Force Link but they are fun figures regardless to play with! If you have the Force Link though they can activate authentic figure phrases and sounds so that would make a fun addition to the set for enhanced play.
Solo: A Star Wars Story Backpack
This is a regular size backpack that any child or adult can use. It features faux leather Star Wars logo on the front and character art all over the backpack. It has compartments all over and is an original, authentic Disney product. I honestly want to use it for me for traveling, but so does my son of course!
And of course for the ultimate Star Wars fun, there is the actual movie “Solo: A Star Wars Story” which is coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 25th and on Digital on September 14.
“Solo: A Star Wars Story”
Now I didn’t get the chance to see the movie in theaters so I was excited to break it out for my family as a back to school celebratory movie night! The movie is jam-packed with action and paints the characters we love perfectly. Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando are the main characters and then there are new friends and enemies throughout the movie. I admit though it made me miss Han Solo but it was a great way to revive his memory. I will add to that even if you are not a Star Wars fan or if you have never seen the series before, it is still an amazing action movie to watch.
The movie is a must-own thanks to its amazing bonus material:
