I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
My boys have loved race track building sets as long as I can remember. They started out with building blocks building tracks and then as they got older got plastic sets they could be more creative with. I am constantly amazed at what they come up with.
Well until now they have only played with straight or angled pieces, which is limiting. They have asked for a flexible track but I wasn’t really sure where to start until I saw the Max Flex RC.
The Max Flex RC is a set that combines flexible track with straight track to provide more creative building combinations.
We got the Max Flex RC 300 edition which contains two Tracer Racers RC cars and tons of track pieces to build something cool. The over 25 ft. of track contains pieces that my son was so excited to build with because they were different than he was used to!
Another awesome feature of this set is that it features glow in the dark pieces! The racer cars actually emit glow lights as they zoom along the tracks! This is a fun feature we discovered on accident as I hadn’t read that they could do that!
The Max Flex pieces are also compatible with major brands track pieces so you can use what you already have with this set! I love when we can combine sets and don’t have to completely rebuy everything. There are other Max Traxxx sets you can buy as well, especially if you want more flexible pieces.
As far as zooming on the tracks, the cars do go pretty fast! They work on the tracks and hard floor surfaces as well. I would definitely be careful though by couches as my son kept driving his car under the couches.
Oh and as far as batteries go, the remotes do require batteries and then you pull out an attached cord to charge the cars. Very easy and I love that the cord is attached so there is no chance of loosing it. My son had the cars charged and ready to go in no time.
BUY IT: You can find the MAX TRAXXX Max Flex RC 300 Combo Edition on Amazon or on the Skullduggery website.
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive Max Flex RC Combo Race Set
