I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
I have always loved board games and with how technology seems to have taken over our society, I feel they are even more important to play. We used to have a family game night regularly but life got in the way. I feel like even if we can’t play board games together, it is important to have some fun, challenging puzzles or toys that get my kids off their devices.
Winning Moves is a game company that has so many great games and puzzle toys, and they are constantly adding to their collection.
Some offerings from Winning Moves to check out:
13 Dead End Drive
13 Dead End Drive first hit the scene in 1994. Now this fan favorite is back, by popular demand, to entertain a whole new generation. Your goal is to be the last surviving heir and inherit Aunt Agatha’s fortune. Which one of her motley crew of friends and employees will it be?
So this is not a new game but it is back for a new generation to enjoy. I remember playing this game with my sister when she was younger and now I can play it with my own kids! It reminds me of Clue but for kids.
Rubik’s Tactile Cube
This 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube has been enhanced with embossed shapes! By adding shapes to the colored sides of the cube, the Rubik’s Tactile Cube is now playable (and solvable!) with your eyes closed!
My boys have been struggling with solving Rubik’s cubes and I thought this might help because they can feel the patterns. Definitely something different!
Rubik’s Twist Key Ring
The Rubik’s Twist Key Ring works like the original Rubik’s Twist. It’s a twisting puzzle challenge that takes the form of thousands of shapes. Clip it to your keys, backpack or bag and you’ll always have something to puzzle, twist, and fidget with wherever you go.
My 10-year-old says he officially has the coolest backpack as he has this attached to his backpack for fun on-the-go. He loves twisting it around while on the school bus and it keeps his mind going!
