I have three kids who still take lunches to school and I feel like I have been making school lunches forever – six years so far but who’s counting. I know I get sick of the same ole’ same ole’ lunches and while my kids seem like they could care less if its the same, I care and want them to expand their horizons. My three kids all have different tastes and one has food allergies so it can be a challenge. I also like quick meal ideas for after school activities to tide them over because sometimes with sports practices we tend to eat dinner later or earlier than usual.
Here is a list of some fun back to school lunchbox ideas:
Gluten-Free Bagel Chips
Bread “Sushi” for Kids
Creamy Turkey Pinwheels
Chicken Veggie Wraps
Chocolate Black Bean Muffins
Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Whole Wheat Olive Oil Crackers
Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites
Shredded Zucchini Bites
Paleo Pretzel Dogs
Turkey Cheese Apple Sandwiches
Ham Rollups
Southwest Turkey Wrap
Chocolate Monkey Bites
Lunchbox Tacos

We’ve hit a rut in our lunches and it’s just a few months in! I will need to see if my daughter wants to try any of these great ideas. wraps are a staple in my house but she usually fails to want anything but pepperoni and cheese

I always had a hard time deciding what my child wanted to each for lunch he would tell me but would it be enough. I wanted to be one of those crafty cool moms to make something special for him but he wanted the basics, but these are cute and clever ideas.
