MY THOUGHTS:
Last season Glee was on right after American Idol and that was also the time that I was leaving my moms house to go home to get the kids in bed. I always missed the ends of the episodes but the parts I did see were funny! I loved checking out the new “Glee: The Complete Season 1” because I got to watch the episodes in their entirety and relive moments I really liked. Now I will say I do not typically like musicals but this show makes it seem natural and the cast is great! Every episode had my smiling and enjoying the singing and dancing. The music in Glee covers most genres and really has something for everyone. The show also features celebrities like Kristin Chenoweth, Josh Groban, Molly Shannon, Eve, and Olivia Newton-John. It is like the movie “Grease” but an entire show! So even if you don’t like singing or musicals, I recommend giving this popular show a chance. The characters are all so different but work together and the show is also full of dating, fighting, great dialogue. Even though this show is set in a high school with teenagers, do not think it is a typical teen show, it is so much more! Oh and who could not like Jane Lynch as Sue the competitive cheerleader coach.
