I received product in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
My kids range from 9 to 14 years old and they all have always like brainteasers. From books to puzzle to fidget-type toys they love tinkering around with things. I love that they are actually using their brain and logic skills and they think they are just playing with a toy.
ThinkFun has come out with these cool linked brainteaser cubes geared towards kids ages 8 and up.
The cubes work on Logic and Problem Solving, Visual Perception and Reasoning. The best part though in my opinion is that they are linked so you don’t have pieces you can loose! Perfect for on-the-go travel too!
Each set of brainteasers includes three different types of puzzles with three levels of play. The Black Chain cubes can be expanded and rearranged to form thousands of different combinations It reminds me of a Rubik’s Cube but more possiblities for creations, rather than just colors. The cubes even feature original artworks.
So for example for Block Chain Unicorns you can rearrange the cube for these puzzles, just to name a few:
- Unicorn Pinata Cube
- Candy Cube
- Each animal and color shown on each side
- Connect the rainbow paths
My daughter has never been able to do a Rubik’s Cube but these she can do she loves fidgeting with them. These are not just for kids though as I find myself fidgeting with them when I need a break!
