Before my husband and I bought the house we are in now, we were actually going to build a house. I remember being so excited because we got to pick every single thing for the house from the fixtures to the cabinets to the flooring! I remember going to the Design Center for the builders we were using and literally spending about six hours picking everything out and deciding what we wanted to upgrade on. One area that was particularly important to us was the kitchen and we really wanted nice cabinets. (Our past houses had cabinets you buy at the hardware store and put together yourself and then hope you hang them straight yourself – which didn’t work too well for us!)
Well that house fell through, thankfully since our current house really is our dream house. There is not really anything we want to remodel right away, but definitely in the future as our family grows and gets older. Throughout my whole house in my kitchens (yes I have two) and my bathrooms, I have KraftMaid cabinets, which I am so grateful for. They are amazing cabinets and all such high-quality pieces of wood that they are holding up great in our house. KraftMaid Cabinetry is also the industry leader and one of the largest semi-custom cabinet manufacturers in the United States.
Here is a picture of my kitchen (the cabinets are a few years old):

o Heritage-style homeowners enjoy luxurious, richly embellished design with ornate details, both classically tailored and elegant. The 10 new door designs from the Heritage collection include styles with traditional or ornate applied molding, carved details, mitered corners and elegant beaded details.
o Coastal designs are inspired by the casual beach lifestyle and feature a mix of organic materials that are weathered and worn to perfection. The two new door designs in the Coastal Collection feature an informal and more relaxed feel with v-groove center panels and sider stiles and rails.

My current kitchen dates from the 60s, and as my best friend says,”it’s retro, but not in a good way”.
Thanks in advance for any support you can offer.
