I worked with PastSmallTalk in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

In my house with three teenagers, I am always looking for ideas to keep them at the dinner table longer. We are a busy family with only a short time we are all able to be together, so I want to make it worth it. When they were younger, it was easy to keep them talking and asking them about their days but now that they are older, I sometimes feel like I don’t know what to ask them other than “How was your day?”
PastSmallTalk is an online site that offers FREE online card decks that allow you to ask questions and keep the conversations going. There are different decks to choose from and even other card decks such as “Would You Rather”, “Exposed”, “Never Have I Ever” and “1 Has to Go.” Each set has different versions geared towards the people you are with or different situations.
Features of PastSmallTalk:
Free online version with nothing to signup for or register – just go the PastSmallTalk website and click the card deck you want to open and start answering! A narrator can read it aloud even if you prefer.

No ads or anything to click to get to the questions. I love that there are no ads to get in the way or advertise anything inappropriate. Everything is very simple and easy.
If you’d like to expand up the game you can create an account for free which allows you to edit and adjust questions, save to your game history and share with friends. This is a more personalized way to play.

Most games take 15-45 minutes, depending on if you are just answering, debating your answers or reminiscing a story that goes along with your answer choice!

There are different games to choose from: Past Small Talk, Would You Rather, Exposed, Never Have I Ever and 1 Has to Go. All of them have a set of card decks to choose from with 10+ questions each.

Each game deck also has different versions you can choose from depending on who you are with, whether it be family, friends, a date night or co-workers. I love that the questions are different for different groups but obviously, you can easily skip around the questions by tapping to the next one and so forth.

You can currently play this game on the website pastsmalltalk.com for free which can be loaded on your computer or even phone. There is no app yet so you just visit the website to load it all. I love this because I can load it up on my phone at the dinner table or even on a road trip. No more running out of questions to ask or awkward silences.
