When I first started blogging a year ago, I was pretty organized but still learning. Well then I had my second child and we moved (twice) and organization went out the window. I tried writing down my blog duties, mom duties, and everything else, in a planner, but there just wasn’t enough room nor was there blank pages for me to write on. I use my computer calendar for major events, but I really needed something I could carry with me and write down my blogger duties and any appointments I had. Yes, I have a cell phone I could program my events in and I even have an iPod Touch that is synced with my iCal calendar, but I am more of a paper and pen kinda girl with certain things.
I don’t even remember how I found MomAgenda, but I did and I am in love with their 2009-2010 17-month Desktop Planner! First off it comes in bright Fuchsia , which is very me, amongst 5 other awesome colors and second off it is the perfect size. The MomAgenda is a desktop planner that has so much space to write and organize activities, it is just amazing! The planner starts out with a monthly calendar than spans two pages and is great for quick reminders or events.
Next comes the weekly calendar section. This is great because it has a giant space for you to write what’s going on for you, but then there is also a spot for kids activities (up to 4), and finally a spot for Dinner! So at-a-glance you can see your week, your families, and plan your dinners! Oh and at the top of every page is a quote to help you get through the week!
After the last week of December 2010, starts lots of fun pages to help you organize, plan, sort, and jot in. First, there is a spot for each of 2011 where you can write a one-line note for any day of the month. This is great to see 2011 holidays or remember stuff to put into your next planner. Now comes the fun blank pages, they are: Books, Fashion, Restaurants, Wines, Health, Fitness, Gift Record, Entertaining Resources, Parties (I used one of these pages to organize Gavin’s 1st birthday), Vacation Ideas, and Vacation Planning. Then comes a whole bunch of blank pages with no titles to use for whatever. I actually crossed off the names of some of the other pages and re-titled them.
Finally, comes MomEssentials.. This is a removable book to place in your new planner every year, because the information shouldn’t change too much. It includes an Address book, Family Members Information, Important Phone Numbers (what was that number for you favorite Chinese restaurant?) Web Sites and Passwords, Family Medical Information, and Birthdays/Anniversaries.
Yes, the MomAgenda Desktop is jam-packed and I can’t even think of anything that is missing or that I would change. I also love the two ribbons it comes with so I can place one on the current month and the other on the current week.
Not a mom, don’t worry they also carry Day Planners for Everyone, Home Organizers, Pads/Accessories, and Gift Sets.
